Michael Fossel is a physician, researcher and one of the world’s pioneers in the study of aging biology and its relationship with telomeres. He is the author of Reversing Human Aging (1996) and The Telomerase Revolution (2015), reference works in the field of longevity. Founder and president of Telocyte, he works on treatments based on telomerase activation for age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. He has been Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University and editor of the academic journal Journal of Anti-Aging Medicine; his collaboration with Fundación LONGENIA is framed within science communication on aging and healthy longevity.

Bilu Huang is an independent theoretical researcher and founder and Principal Investigator of the Bilu Huang Institute for Aging Research. He is the originator of the Integrated Aging Theory Framework, which includes the TRCS Model of telomere DNA and ribosomal DNA (rDNA) co-regulation in cellular senescence. It is a first-principles theoretical framework for understanding cellular senescence and biological aging. The TRCS Model has received preliminary validation. His work studies the fundamental principles of aging biology and age-related degenerative diseases, integrating theoretical biology, experimental validation and translational research in longevity science and regenerative medicine.
